Dude, you need to teach workshops on fathering, desperately needed. As I read this I remember that my father made, emphasis made, me a tool to help me learn how to read music. He saw the one the music teacher had, which was very lovely and cardboard with string to move the card board note up and down. The one my dad made was plywood, and a bit big, but the pulley system to move the note was made of sturdy string that I could manipulate pretty easily. I will always remember the note was made of yellow plastic cut out from something. I miss that thing.
