Here in Sacramento, the Sutter Medical System, after the defacement of a statue of pioneer John Sutter, removed the statue, which it owns, from the public (state) park where it was located, across the street from one of the Sutter hospitals. The statue was a few hundred yards away from the State's Indian Museum, a slightly pitiful place, in grave need of improvement. My sense is that removing the statue from the park had more to do with medical group financing that anything else.

Perhaps the Sutter medical facility will consider appropriate reparations including contributing to improvement of the Indian Museum.
