Thank you for the recipe and the story of your family version of Spanish rice. I think that one of the challenges of the 1970's women's movement is that so much of the creativity and authority that is cooking was lost. I regret not learning how to make egg pie from my maternal grandmother. I will figure it out. Your piece was a reminder that I need to get back to that.
