The rather vicious comment posted by another individual is, to put it bluntly, sort of what you have to expect for the rest of the career you are considering choosing. Let me put it this way, Mr. Harris, if you choose to work in service of the Truth, you will be risking your life. I do hope you move forward in the area of journalism however I would suggest you consider going to law school. What current U.S. media lacks are journalists who have education and roots in something else along with journalism. And given how much the legal and political systems impact the lives of Black folks, someone who understands both the law and journalism will have a lot of truth to tell and could do a lot of good. And as for that commenter, ignore him as he is, in a word, wrong.
